Al-Mismari calls for first-year teachers’ pay differentials to be disbursed in October
LIBYA – House of Representatives member and deputy chair of the House Education Committee Sultana Al-Mismari said the House Finance Committee, the High Council of State Finance Committee and the Budget Committee at the Ministry of Finance were continuing to examine the unified salary scale issued under Law No. 18 by the House of Representatives, aiming to unify wages across sectors, strengthen social justice and reduce disparities between citizens’ salaries.
Teachers’ differentials and October
In exclusive comments to Al-Marj Radio, Al-Mismari said the House presidency had asked the Finance Ministry to disburse teachers’ salary differentials for four years, with the first year’s differentials to begin in October.
