Parliamentary committee stresses importance of maritime agreement
LIBYA – House of Representatives member Rabia Bouras has said the House discussed the joint maritime agreement with Turkey at its session on Tuesday, pointing to the findings of a study carried out by a committee the House formed to examine the agreement.
Shared economic and strategic interests
In exclusive comments to Libya Al-Ahrar TV, which broadcasts from Turkey with Qatari funding, Bouras said the committee tasked with studying the agreement had concluded that it was important to vote on it, given the shared economic and strategic interests it represents and the protection it provides for the rights and privileges of Libya and its people.
