Field Marshal Haftar Inaugurates Al-Ittihad Military Stadium in Al-Mushir Military City
Libya – Al-Mushir Military City witnessed a significant event with the inauguration of Al-Ittihad Military Stadium, attended by the General Commander of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Belqasim Haftar, in a move that underscores the commitment to developing sports infrastructure and facilities within the military institution.
Senior Officials Attend Inauguration Ceremony
According to the media office of the Libyan government, the General Commander was accompanied at the opening ceremony by Deputy General Commander, Lt. Gen. Saddam Khalifa Haftar, and Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Khalid Khalifa Haftar. The event also saw broad official attendance led by Libyan Prime Minister Osama Hammad, along with a number of ministers, senior officials and prominent figures from various state institutions.
Friendly Match in a Festive Atmosphere
As part of the inauguration, a friendly football match was held between Al-Ittihad Military Sports Club and Espérance Sportive de Tunis. The game was played in a festive atmosphere and in front of a large crowd, drawing strong engagement and wide follow-up from those in attendance.
