Turkish congratulations and welcome for parliamentary ratification
LIBYA – House of Representatives Speaker Salehin Abdulnabi has received a phone call from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Dr Numan Kurtulmuş, who congratulated him on his election as Speaker and wished him success in carrying out his duties.
Kurtulmuş expressed his thanks and gratitude to the House of Representatives for adopting and ratifying the Libyan-Turkish memorandum of understanding on the delimitation of maritime jurisdiction areas in the Mediterranean, saying it serves the interests of both peoples.
The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey affirmed his aspiration to develop cooperation and relations between the Libyan and Turkish parliaments, in a way that helps consolidate relations between the two countries.
