Maritime agreement approved, rejection and severance resolutions revoked
LIBYA – The House of Representatives has voted unanimously to approve the memorandum of understanding signed between the Government of National Accord and the Turkish government on delimiting areas of maritime jurisdiction in the Mediterranean.
The House also unanimously revoked two of its earlier resolutions: Resolution No. 1 of 2020, which rejected ratification of the two memoranda of understanding concluded between the Government of National Accord and Turkey, and Resolution No. 6 of 2020 on severing political relations with the Republic of Turkey.
