Abu Zriba Meets State Council Members on Harm Suffered by Citizens in Southern and Eastern Libya
LIBYA – Interior Minister in the House of Representatives–mandated government, Major General Essam Abu Zriba, on Sunday received at his office in the ministry headquarters a number of State Council members: Jamila Al-Zawi, Hanaa Al-Arfi, Lamia Al-Sharif, Zainab Tushi and Fatima Tuliweeh.
Discussing Demands From Citizens in the South and East
The meeting covered several files and issues of shared interest, foremost among them demands related to harm suffered by a number of citizens in areas of southern and eastern Libya.
The two sides also discussed ways to address those issues and ease procedures and services provided to citizens through security bodies affiliated with the Interior Ministry.
Abu Zriba: Serving Citizens Is a Top Priority
For his part, Abu Zriba stressed the importance of strengthening coordination among the relevant authorities in a way that helps resolve existing problems and respond to citizens’ demands.
He emphasised the ministry’s commitment to following up on those demands and working to address them within the approved legal and administrative frameworks, so as to ease citizens’ transactions and raise the standard of services provided to them. He noted that serving citizens and meeting their needs rank among the Interior Ministry’s foremost priorities.
