Benghazi meeting on stability and cooperation
Libya – The commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received France’s ambassador to Libya, Thierry Valle, and his accompanying delegation at his office at General Command headquarters in Benghazi.
Talks covered local and regional files of shared interest and ways to strengthen cooperation between Libya and France across fields that serve both countries’ interests.
Support for unifying institutions
Both sides stressed the importance of supporting efforts to unify Libyan institutions, helping achieve lasting stability and preparing the conditions to move towards building a unified state.
