Teachers’ Union rejects request to end open sit-in
Libya – Ramadan Hamoum, deputy chair of the Teachers’ Union steering committee, said the union had rejected a Unity Government delegation’s request to end the open sit-in.
Full implementation of demands is the condition for lifting the sit-in
In exclusive remarks to Al-Masar TV, Hamoum said the sit-in would not be lifted until all teachers’ demands are implemented in practice without exception.
He explained that the demands are to improve living conditions and salaries, provide health insurance, and pay the financial differentials arising from Law No. 4.
