HoR meeting on religious affairs
LIBYA – House of Representatives Speaker Salehin Abdulnabi has met the Libyan Government’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister Atef Abdulwahid Al-Obaidi at his office at the HoR’s Diwan headquarters, in the presence of HoR member Abdulnasser Al-Naas and the ministry’s director of endowments and investment, Eng Adel Al-Awami.
Congratulations and the ministry’s legislative remit
At the start of the meeting, Al-Obaidi congratulated Abdulnabi on assuming the presidency of the House of Representatives and wished him success. According to the HoR’s official website, the meeting addressed legislative issues related to the remit of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, particularly religious matters that affect the life of society.
