Call for closer coordination between departments and continued institutional performance
LIBYA – Dr Fawzi Musbah Abukhzam, who is carrying out the duties of Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), held his first meeting with the bank’s department directors at his office on Sunday, stressing the importance of strengthening institutional work and joining up efforts to improve the bank’s performance.
Praise for the former governor and staff
Opening the meeting, Abukhzam welcomed the directors and praised the efforts made by Naji Issa during his time as CBL governor, as well as those of the bank’s staff. He underlined the importance of continuing to work as one team and of carrying out assigned duties and responsibilities efficiently and professionally.
Closer integration and coordination between departments
Abukhzam stressed the need to sustain institutional work and to strengthen coordination and cooperation between the bank’s departments, helping develop performance, raise efficiency and support efforts to revive the bank and strengthen its ability to fulfil its role and responsibilities.
Unifying visions and developing the bank’s performance
The meeting is part of Abukhzam’s drive to strengthen direct communication with the bank’s departments and to unify efforts and visions in the interest of the central bank, supporting its further development and improved institutional performance.
