Call to compensate those affected and assign responsibility
LIBYA – The leader of the Libyan Renewal Party, Suleiman Al-Bayoudi, criticised what he described as the continued silence of Abdulhamid Dbeibah’s government over the damage suffered by citizens from the rain in the capital, Tripoli, especially damage he said resulted from neglect or poor implementation of some projects.
Demand for an urgent compensation mechanism
Al-Bayoudi said in a Facebook post that those affected had a right to compensation, calling on Dbeibah to take responsibility and put in place a clear and urgent mechanism to compensate them.
