Al-Jehani criticises the salary scale in harsh terms
LIBYA – House of Representatives member Essam Al-Jehani has criticised policies on the management of economic resources and public funds, using harsh language in a Facebook post commenting on the draft unified salary scale.
Al-Jehani said he considered it more accurate, in his words, to call it the “unified corruption scale”, the “unified letters of credit scale”, the “theft scale”, the “plunder scale” or the “scale of tampering with the people’s livelihoods and savings”, arguing that these names reflect his criticisms more clearly.
