Al-Qawiri explains when insulin shipments will be dispensed
LIBYA – The head of the National Diabetes Authority, Awad Al-Qawiri, has said distribution of insulin shipments will begin within days, once the batches needed to cover the needs of all parts of the country have arrived.
In comments to Al-Masar TV, Al-Qawiri said the quantities received so far were not enough to meet the needs of all regions, and that the authority was waiting for the remaining shipments to arrive before distribution begins. He stressed that insulin would be dispensed exclusively through the electronic system on which patients had already registered.
