Al-Sibai criticises the state of infrastructure after the rain
LIBYA – House of Representatives member Ali Al-Sibai has criticised the “Return of Life” project, saying the capital, Tripoli, was in better shape before it was launched. He pointed to Tuesday’s scenes of homes, roads, cars and neighbourhoods flooded by rain, which he said he had never witnessed before.
Flooding scenes and prayers for those affected
In a post on his Facebook page, Al-Sibai questioned the point of talking about “Return of Life” at a time when homes were being flooded and roads were turning into swamps. He prayed for God to compensate those affected, ease their suffering and lift the hardship facing the country.
