Unifying the judiciary tops the London meeting agenda
LIBYA – House of Representatives member Aisha Al-Tabalqi has expressed hope that the upcoming meeting of the 4+4 mini dialogue committee in London will produce realistic and tangible results on unifying Libya’s judiciary.
A unified judiciary as a condition for accepted elections
In a statement to Al-Masar TV, Al-Tabalqi said unifying the judiciary was an essential step that cannot be bypassed on the path to successful elections whose results are accepted by the parties concerned.
From understandings to implementation
She stressed the importance of the London meeting producing practical, workable understandings that move beyond discussion to clear steps on the ground, adding that the House of Representatives would support these efforts and cooperate with the 4+4 committee to address obstacles, strengthen stability and build a state of institutions and the rule of law.
