Libya – Audit Bureau President Khaled Shakshak discussed financial and oversight files with First Deputy Speaker of the High State Council Naji Mukhtar, at a meeting attended by a number of council members and bureau department directors.
Oversight findings and financial discipline
The meeting reviewed remarks and oversight findings in the bureau’s reports, the importance of addressing shortcomings, strengthening financial discipline and protecting public funds, as well as supporting institutional coordination and entrenching transparency and governance.
