Cooler air in the north-west, with showers expected early next week
LIBYA – North-western areas will be affected from today, Saturday 10 October, by a relatively cold air mass, bringing lower temperatures and fairly brisk northerly winds, along with building cloud, as part of the weather expected over the next two days.
Better chances of rain on Monday and Tuesday
The chances of rain over north-western areas are expected to improve on Monday and Tuesday, with thunderstorm cells possible at times, bringing scattered showers.
Areas covered by the rain forecast
Areas likely to see scattered showers include some border areas with Tunisia, areas stretching from Nalut to Gharyan, Al-Orban, Tarhuna and surrounding areas, and some coastal areas, as well as Ghadames, Al-Hamada and north-eastern areas.
