Review of the unified pay scale expected
Libya – Omar Tantoush, chair of the House of Representatives Finance Committee, said a committee of experts, specialists and House members would be formed to review the unified pay scale.
Retirees’ increases also on the agenda
Speaking exclusively to the Fawasel platform, Tantoush said the committee would also examine retirees’ salaries and why the increases approved for them had not been paid so far.
He added that no meeting with Central Bank of Libya Governor Naji Issa was scheduled in the near term.
