A gasoline tanker docks at Marsa Brega ahead of pumping the shipment into storage
Libya – Brega Oil Marketing Company spokesman Ahmed Al-Maslati announced the arrival of the first gasoline shipment at Marsa Brega through the Sirte company facility since 2017, on Wednesday, after years of suspension.
Unloading and distribution
Speaking to Libya Al-Hadath television, Al-Maslati said the tanker Port Aria had berthed at the quay of Sirte Oil Company for Production and Manufacturing of Oil and Gas at Marsa Brega, carrying a cargo of gasoline.
He said the shipment would be unloaded and stored ahead of being pumped into Brega company depots via the pipeline, then distributed according to approved supply programmes and available quantities.
