Parliamentary meeting with Fezzan’s sheikhs and notables
LIBYA – House of Representatives (HoR) Speaker Salehin Abdulnabi, accompanied by the House’s Second Deputy Speaker Misbah Douma, HoR Rapporteur and head of the Committee for Monitoring Oversight Bodies Zayed Hadiya, and HoR members Ahmed Al-Sharef and Mohammed Al-Hudairi, has met the head and members of the Supreme Council of Fezzan Sheikhs and Notables.
Government attendance and an honour for the Speaker
According to the HoR’s official website, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Libyan Government and Defence Minister Dr Ahmid Homa; Investment Minister Ali Al-Saidi; Labour and Rehabilitation Minister Abdullah Al-Sharef; and Director General of the National Development Agency Dr Mahmoud Al-Farjani.
During the meeting, the Supreme Council of Fezzan Sheikhs and Notables presented the Speaker with the “Shield of Loyalty” as an expression of its appreciation for his efforts in serving the country and its pride in his national role.
