Islamic parliamentary union congratulates new House Speaker
LIBYA – The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Salehin Abdulnabi, has received a congratulatory cable from the Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, on his election as Speaker.

According to the House’s official website, the Secretary-General offered his sincere congratulations and best wishes on Abdulnabi’s election, praying that God would grant him success and guide him in carrying out this high responsibility, and that his efforts would be crowned with success for the good of Libya and its people.
Prospects for cooperation after Abdulnabi’s election
He also expressed the union’s pride in its distinguished relations with the Libyan House of Representatives, and in the coordination, communication and active participation in the union’s work and activities that have marked cooperation between the two sides, helping strengthen joint parliamentary action in the service of the Islamic world’s causes.
The Secretary-General said Abdulnabi’s assumption of the House presidency would open up new prospects for continuing and deepening this cooperation to achieve shared goals, wishing him lasting success and the House and the brotherly Libyan people further progress and prosperity.
