LIBYA – Libyan Prime Minister Osama Hammad took part in the launch ceremony of the Ozone Communications and Technology Group, held to coincide with the connection of the Medusa submarine cable, in a step the government’s media office said aims to develop digital infrastructure, improve the efficiency of connections to international networks and strengthen telecommunications and internet services in Libya.
Development, military and service-sector officials attend
The ceremony was attended by the director of the National Development Agency, Mahmoud Al-Farjani; the director-general of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, Belgassem Haftar; the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces; and a number of members of the House of Representatives, along with ministers and officials from the service sectors.
Supporting digital transformation and infrastructure
