Death by Firing Squad as Qisas for Man Convicted of Killing Muftah Mustafa Al-Walwal in Ajailat
LIBYA – The Ajailat Criminal Court has sentenced the defendant in the killing of Muftah Mustafa Al-Walwal to death by firing squad as qisas (retributive justice).
Prosecution Brought the Public Case
The Public Prosecution brought the public case against the defendant, identified as “W.M.Kh,” over the killing of the victim Muftah Al-Walwal, before the court at its final sessions found him guilty.
Three Years for Unlicensed Weapons
The court also sentenced the defendant to three years in prison for possession of unlicensed weapons.
