United Nations Condemns Incidents Targeting Staff at a Service Centre Run by One of Its Agencies in Tripoli
LIBYA – The United Nations in Libya strongly condemned repeated incidents that occurred yesterday morning, Monday, at the premises of a service centre run by one of its agencies in Tripoli.
Aggressive Conduct Targeting Staff and Visitors
The United Nations acknowledged measures taken by the relevant authorities to deal with the incidents and open an investigation into their circumstances, particularly the aggressive behaviour that targeted centre staff and people seeking humanitarian assistance there.
It stressed the need to take all necessary measures to prevent such incidents from recurring.
