Boudouara calls for turning international support into a Libyan process
LIBYA – Structured Dialogue member Ashraf Boudouara has said that the renewal of the mandate of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, alongside the US initiative, reflects a growing international push to end political division and unify the executive authority, paving the way for national elections that would bring the transitional phases to a close.
In a post on his personal Facebook page, Boudouara expressed hope that this international consensus would be translated into a practical political process with national legitimacy, grounded in a clear constitutional basis and putting the interests of Libyan citizens above calculations of power.
