A Libyan coffee brand drawing on Neapolitan tradition
LIBYA – An economic report said Espresso The Boss is working to bring Neapolitan coffee culture to Libya in cooperation with IMF, an Italian maker of roasting machines.
First roasting plant with an Italian machine
According to the report, published by the English-language Italian site Communicaffe International and followed by Al-Marsad, which translated its main economic points, Tripoli-based Espresso The Boss plans to set up its first roasting plant equipped with an IMF RM 30 machine.
Expansion across North Africa and international markets
The report said the move aims to build a premium, modern Libyan coffee brand that meets the highest international standards and draws on Neapolitan espresso style, ahead of expansion across North Africa and into international markets.
It quoted Espresso The Boss general manager Mohannad Al-Usta as saying: “Our goal is not merely to roast coffee, but to create a distinctive Libyan brand that draws on Neapolitan tradition, relies on Italian technology and carefully selected beans, and upholds uncompromising quality standards.”
