Follow-up on preparing security facilities in Sirte
Libya – The director-general of the National Development Agency, Mahmoud Al-Farjani, accompanied by the director of the Sirte Security Directorate, Maj Gen Ahmed Al-Maadi, inspected the new Sirte Security Directorate building and the new traffic department to assess readiness and completed work on the project.
Developing and modernising the police sector
The project is being carried out on instructions from Deputy Commander-in-Chief Lt Gen Saddam Khalifa Haftar, as part of his plan to develop, modernise and restructure the police sector in line with modern technologies. According to the agency’s media office, the visit falls within follow-up of vital projects and facilities in Sirte and an assessment of the readiness of facilities that support security institutions and provide a modern working environment meeting their needs.
