LIBYA – The commander-in-chief of the armed forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received at his office at General Command headquarters the French president’s special envoy, Paul Soler.

Praise for Libyan-French Relations

Haftar welcomed the French president’s envoy, praising the strength of Libyan-French relations and the distinguished relationship he shares with French President Emmanuel Macron.

He also praised France’s role in supporting the General Command of the Armed Forces in confronting terrorism and extremism.

For his part, Paul Soler expressed his pleasure at the visit and his meeting with Field Marshal Haftar, praising the armed forces’ efforts and their role in supporting stability and strengthening security in Libya.
